Site-specific installation for LUZA Festival - Algarve International Festival of Light

"Girar" is a site-specific light and visual project that took place on the facade of Arco do Repouso in Faro, a gate with a zenithal opening leaned on the historic wall of Faro. Referring to the universe of ritualistic architectures, more specifically to buildings tensed toward geometrical perfection and strong centripetal energy, Girar creates an imaginary of moving geometries, recurrent shapes and nocturnal skies. It is made of three scenarios: “Girar”, “Peli” and “Bato”.
